Nothing beats free food in my mind, and while this isn’t a totally free Subway, you’ll only have to spend just over £1 to get your lunch.

Subway isn’t known for dishing out deals all that often, which means a rather expensive sandwich if you buy it normally. Luckily this Thursday, you can get a great deal on your subs, and there is no coupon required.

Important: Subway has since confirmed that this is only available in the Anglia region (see a list of stores here)

How to get a ‘free Subway’ when you buy a drink

This Thursday 6th February is known as ‘Customer Appreciation Day’ at Subway (or more like ‘PR stunt to get more customers day’) – but I wont knock free food!

To get it, all you have to do is head into a Subway restaurant between 11am and 7pm on Thursday, and when you buy either a bottle of water or large drink, you’ll get a 6″ sub for free.

This offer is valid at selected Subway stores in the Anglia region  (find your nearest), though as it’s a franchise, it’s worth checking with the staff before you place your order.

With the bottles of water at my local restaurant costing £1.30 and a large drink costing £1.50 – it’ll mean a nice cheap lunch on Thursday.

That’s all there is to it! There’s no coupon to claim it or anything, simply mention the offer and go right ahead and get your lunch for just over £1.

In previous years, Subway restaurants have seen big queues with offers like this. One of the restaurants I went to in London a few years ago to get this had a queue out the door. Hopefully it’s not like that where you live, but be prepared to have people in front of you.

I hope this’ll get you a cheap lunch on Thursday! Do let me know if you get it. If your cravings aren’t fulfilled after lunch, you can get a free side at KFC too.

Will you be getting this deal on Thursday for customer appreciation day? I’d love to know in the comments below, on Twitter @Jordon_Cox or on Facebook.
