It’s a deal which comes around quite often, but it might be even more needed in these times.

Whether you’ve got a socially distanced barbecue coming up, or just want to fill your wine fridge, there’s a deal happening now which will save you some money.

How to get it

From Wed 17th – Sun 21st June, you can get 25% off bottles of wine, champagne or prosecco when you buy 6 bottles.

The deal is available at Sainsbury’s either online or in store, though unfortunately Sainsbury’s Local stores don’t have the offer – it’s only at superstores.

You can only receive the discount when buying wine, prosecco or champagne in groups of 6.

So if you wanted the deal, you can only get 25% off everything if you buy 6, 12, 18, 24 or 30 bottles.

You are able to mix & match with different bottles and types of fizzy, as long as they are included in the offer. You can check out the full list of what’s included here.

And again… I’m sorry Scotland, but alcohol promotions are not valid where you are.

Examples of price

There are 8 pages worth of different wines and fizz to choose from. Some are already on offer, and the extra 25% off drops the price down even further.

Here are a few examples of what you can get:

Sainsbury’s Pinot Grigio, Taste the Difference

  • On sale at £6 (norm £7)
  • 25% off 6 bottles

Total for 6 bottles after promo: £27 (£4.50 each)

Casillero Del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon

  • On sale at £6 (norm £7.50)
  • 25% off 6 bottles

Total for 6 bottles after promo: £27 (£4.50 each)

Valdo Prosecco Marco Oro

  • On sale at £7.50 (norm £8.50)
  • 25% off 6 bottles

Total for 6 bottles after promo: £33.75 (£5.63 each)

Nicolas Feuillate Champagne

  • On sale at £19 (norm £21)
  • 25% off 6 bottles

Total for 6 bottles after promo: £85.50 (£14.25 each)

If wine, prosecco or champagne were on the shopping list this week, then hopefully this saves you a bit of money on your tipple of choice.

Remember, if you’re going into a Sainsbury’s supermarket, only one adult per household will be allowed into the store, and reduced hours may be in place.

If you’re an NHS worker or disabled, you may be able to get into the store slightly earlier too (be sure to check it’s opening times).

And of course… remember to drink responsibly.

Will you be heading to Sainsbury’s to stock up? I’d love to know in the comments below, on Twitter @Jordon_Cox or on Facebook.
