I absolutely love a quiz. There’s something oddly satisfying about correctly answering questions you didn’t know you knew. So why not try my lockdown quiz?

While times are quite tough, myself and many people have turned to virtual pub quizzes to pass the time and have a bit of fun.

So, wanting to join in on the action, I’ve come up with my own quiz for you to take and test your wits, either on your own or as part of a group.

Quizzing Experience?

You may be wondering why a coupon expert is holding a quiz, as they aren’t really linked!

While I may not be known for my general knowledge, I’m an avid quiz fan. The past few weeks, I’ve been watching The Chase and House of Games every day without fail.

And… something you might not know, is I’ve appeared on 2 different TV quiz shows and won a total of £2,450 in prize money! Not a bad little pay day.

Pick me!

Back in 2015 I appeared on my first TV game/quiz show at the wee age of 18.

You had to dress up in wacky outfits in order to get picked to come down and play. I wish I could find a picture – but I can’t track anything down!

Stephen Mulhurn eventually picked me and managed to take £1,000 home. Not bad for a day’s work!

Head Hunters

Just last year I appeared on 30 episodes of a new TV quiz show called Head Hunters hosted by Rob Beckett.

It was incredibly hard to win money on this show, and you needed luck on your side to get you through (and broad knowledge… which I maybe lacked).

Nevertheless, I took home £1,450 prize money after winning a show with two teammates Victoria and Dubem.

Now I don’t claim to be an expert quizzer or can take down a chaser (if you watched Head Hunters, you would’ve seen some serious gaps in my knowledge!)

I do however have some strengths, and have turned those into my own general knowledge lockdown quiz for you to take to test yourself.

All of the questions which I have written below, I know the answers to without looking it up, as it’s things I’ve either taught myself or found out. There are even a few I learnt from the quiz shows I was on!

Some aren’t the easiest of questions… so I’d love to know how many you get correct by commenting on the bottom of the blog – and see how you match up with others!

Once you’ve made your guess on each question, reveal the answer, and add up your scores. Leave the answers you got correct open – then you should have a score out of 50 by the end!

I am known to be tight… so there is no prize for the highest score. Just a little bit of fun!

Have fun and good luck…
