It might be the beginning of the end of a long year under a pandemic – vaccinations are in full swing. If you get called to have yours, you’re able to get a free Uber trip (up to £15). Here’s how.
It’s hard to believe that this time last year we didn’t know what was coming. Oh how I long for January 2020 right now!
But the reports of mass vaccinations should give us all some hope that things will get better.
If it’s your turn to get a vaccine (or an elderly relative), and you’re heading to a vaccination centre, Uber can help you.
Get A Free Uber Trip (Worth £15) To A Vaccination Centre
To help get the country vaccinated, Uber has launched a promotion to get people £15 off a trip either to or from a vaccination centre.
You can use this either for yourself or a loved one by ordering an Uber for them. You can track their route to make sure they get there safely if you can’t join them.
The journey must start or end at a vaccination centre in order for the £15 to be taken off. If your trip is less than £15, it’ll be free. If it’s over, you pay the difference.
To get the discount, you need to enter a promo code into the app by selecting “Wallet’ and scrolling down to ‘Promo Code’.

Important T&Cs
Of course, to use this offer, your vaccination will need to be at one of these mass vaccination centres.
I’m not sure that you can choose the place that you have your vaccine, but if you live close to any of these places, then there’s a good chance you could get called there.
The codes are valid until February 28th 2021 – so people getting the vaccine during this time will likely be key workers and the vulnerable.
If you’re travelling together with someone, you can both claim the promo code and get £15 off your journeys to and from.
They may extend the voucher – or bring it back when more of the general public can have it, and more vaccination centres are open.
If you’re riding in an Uber taxi, precautions are made to keep you and the driver safe. Cars should be disinfected between trips and masks must be worn.
