Disney Plus has to be one of the best up and coming on-demand streaming services to date. It’s a struggle to find Disney Plus deals and discounts – but here are the cheapest offers.
With their wide range of popular TV shows and movies, I can see why they’ve been so successful since they launched back in 2020.
As prices are increasing on the 23rd February, going from £5.99 to £7.99 a month – to a rather expensive £7.99 a month (or £79.90 a year), I can see why people want to get it for cheaper.
Disney Plus are sneaky with their deals and they don’t tend to broadcast them to the public regularly. Luckily, there are a few ways to save money.
Throughout this article, find out the best and cheapest Disney Plus deals they have to offer, and how you can obtain them. Hope it saves you money!
What Is Disney Plus?
Disney Plus is an ad-free, on-demand streaming service that can commonly be compared to such services like Netflix.
Of course, being Disney they grant access to all shows and movies produced by Disney and other related entertainment companies such as Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and much more.
It’s pretty new to the block and especially for those who live in the UK. Disney plus was introduced in the US in 2019 but only released in the UK in March 2020.
However, being one of the newer streaming services it certainly doesn’t disappoint.
Can I get Disney Plus for Free?
Now onto the important question that everybody is wondering, how do you get Disney plus for free?
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it isn’t possible. You’ll have to eventually pay something for Disney, but there are cheaper deals to the original one advertised.
You may not be able to get it for free, but there are a few ways to get a free trial to test out Disney Plus to see if it’s worth the purchase. These usually involve purchasing something else before however. Here’s how:
Game Pass Ultimate – 1 Free Month Disney Plus
If you’re an Xbox player (or even if you aren’t), you can get a one month free trial of Disney Plus through Game Pass Ultimate.
This lets you download and play 100s of games for free on your Xbox, and costs you £1 if you’re a new subscriber.
This also includes a one month trial of Disney Plus along with your subscription. So you can try it out for 30 days for a £1 spend.
Employees Of Disney – Free Disney Plus
If you’re employed by Disney, they actually offer a free Disney plus subscription to their workers. It’s a great gesture and can be looked at as a nice little bonus for joining the company.
However, the only downside to this is that you’ll have to choose between a Disney park gate pass for your family or alternative a Disney Plus subscription.
How to Get Disney Plus For The Cheapest Price
Those are some ideas on how you can potentially get a longer free trial with Disney. But I’m aware that some people may not have access to these benefits.
Luckily for you, there are other ways in which you can get Disney Plus for cheaper. Here are the cheapest Disney Plus deals:
Get £10 Cashback Using TopCashback
TopCashback has to be my favourite way that you’re able to save on your Disney Plus subscription. If you’re signed up TopCashback you’ll be able to save £10 off an annual subscription.
Head over to TopCashback.com and once you’ve signed up you’ll be able to search their website for over 5,000+ “cashback” rewards.
In the search bar, type in “Disney Plus”, this will then bring up the cashback offer for this service – £10 off an annual subscription.
When you’re on the offer, click the pink “Get Cashback” button. This will then open the retailer’s website in a new tab and in this case, Disney Plus.
Lastly, you’ll have to sign up and purchase the subscription. When you’ve done this, it’ll be recorded on your TopCashback account and here you’ll be able to receive the cashback funds.

Get 6 Months ‘Free’ With O2
O2 is highly used worldwide and its members can benefit from their great Disney Plus deal. They offer two deals when it comes to Disney Plus. These are a monthly deal and an extended free trial deal.
Let’s start with the monthly deal, if you’re a current O2 customer and not wanting to upgrade your phone, you can benefit from this. In the UK, you can head over to your O2 app or call them on 202 to activate this deal.
The special deal will charge you £5.99 extra a month for Disney plus, but they’ll discount your phone bill by £2 per month. So theoretically, you’ll be paying £3.99 a month for Disney Plus.
Now, if you’re in the process of upgrading your phone or deal plan, you can get an upgrade that includes a 6-month free trial for Disney Plus. Not all phone contracts by O2 have this. However, you should be able to see either online or in a shop which ones do.
Ask For A Disney Plus Gift Card
Is your birthday is coming up or is Christmas just around the corner? Another method you could try is by asking someone for a Disney Plus gift card.
Disney offer carded and electronic gift cards that friends and families can send to each other.
No credit or debit card information will need to be entered when signing up to Disney Plus with a gift card.
After the gift card expires the account will be deactivated unless you add your card details to it. Or alternatively, purchase another Disney gift card.

As you can tell, there aren’t a million different ways in which you can get a cheaper or free Disney membership – but one or two might suit.
If you’re struggling to find a suitable deal for you, I suggest you wait until the more “deal” times of the year like Black Friday or Christmas. Normally around this time of year retailers will offer their best deals to get buyers.
